Presentation of myself

In regards to my collage I feel that different forms of media have influenced me greatly in many ways. For instance as a child my main influence was Disney, they taught us our morals, my good from my bad and that good over comes evil. They taught us to be nice to others. Things like these movie shaped us as children and some in particular stayed with me throughout my years, as they are a connection to who we used to be. I don’t feel that my music tastes really influences my identity, I just find them nice to listen to and are a complete contrast to my personality, the songs I prefer are loud and over the top where as I’m naturally quiet. Media in regards to movies influence our identity, if we find something we like or that is relatable we tend to look for more aspects that we have in common. Such as if a person admires a skill like an instrument they will learn it and usually whatever melody the character was playing.

I don’t believe individuality is an illusion, I believe it all depends on
a person perspective. I am not an individual and I am not part of a group, I am me and the media has not influenced that.
